Technology Questions & Answers

Learn more about the technical aspects of our aquaculture monitoring and control systems.

What sensors are included in your monitoring system?
Our standard sensor suite includes dissolved oxygen, pH, temperature, conductivity, turbidity, and ammonia sensors. We also offer specialised sensors for specific applications such as chlorophyll monitoring, redox potential, and fish behaviour tracking cameras.
How accurate are your water quality measurements?
Our sensors provide laboratory-grade accuracy with typical precision of ±0.1 pH units, ±0.2°C for temperature, and ±2% for dissolved oxygen. All sensors are factory calibrated and include automatic drift compensation algorithms.
What happens if internet connectivity is lost?
Our systems include local data storage and can operate autonomously for up to 30 days without internet connectivity. Critical alerts are stored locally and transmitted once connectivity is restored. Essential automated functions continue operating using local controllers.
Can your system work with saltwater operations?
Yes, all our sensors and equipment are designed for both freshwater and saltwater applications. We use marine-grade materials and specialised calibration protocols for saltwater environments to ensure long-term reliability and accuracy.
